"Thanks again for sending along the "People's March for Economic
Justice" DVD.
What a powerful and inspiring event!
Julia and I had a chance to review it today. We like the way you captured
the energy of the march and helped put the lives of the farmworkers
into
such vivid context. Their story, and the narrative covering the plight
of
workers generally, was nicely interwoven with the speakers' presentations.
We'll be sure to let people know about it who are looking for great
videos
on grassroots activism and the connections between environmental
and social/economic issues.
Keep up the great work -- and all the best to you and yours!
Toward peace and ecological community."
- Julia, Aaron and the staff of Circle of Life
Very
Inspiring...
"What I Loved most was
to see so many Young People caring about
Economic Justice. It reminded me of the 1960's and 1970's.
Julia Butterfly Hill was inspiring as were all the speakers. I had never
seen her in person before.
Some of the filming was a bit jerky, but that added to the authenticity.
I liked the working in of the eagle plus other aspects of the film
like the workers in the field.
You should be proud of your good work!"
Anne Bagley - Ann Arbor MI
"The
film captures the passionate energy of the Santa Barbara community
standing up for their constitutional rights with rousing chants,
colorful banners and colorfully dressed protestorsgiving the film a
60's vibe."
