In other news, Cowboy Surfer has been pegged to appear in a GoldenEagleVideo production documentary on Legendary environmental activist Julia Butterfly Hill, who bravely fought the illegal clearcutting of old redwood forests by living in a huge redwood tree named Luna for two years!! What a woman and honor it is for Cowboy Surfer to be associated with this. Stay tuned for more information on this and other upcoming events.

One gig we are probably going to do is on December 14th at The Cayucos Inn and Tavern on the beach in Cayucos. They have a gambling hall too.

Well the AvoFest was a h;uge blast!! I filmed the Upbeat's mad set and plan on webcasting it on Ampcast.com soon. We met alot of nice people and partied till closing. Then the next day we came back to watch our friend Jennifer Terran perform a wonderful set of her now classic songs including some new ones from her new CD "The Musician". I also filmed Jennifer's CD release party at Soho and there may be a webcast on Ampcast.com in her future as well.

The show went great and Earl got us invited to a battle of the blues bands (even tho we aren't a blues band) hosted by the Santa Barbara Blues Society. What a trip!
