6/08/05 - Great news Disc Golf Fans!
Yesterday, the Lake Casitas
Disc Golf course was granted an official 1 year trial
by the Water District Board of Supervisors with only one dissenting vote.
Congratulations to
the Ventura Disc Golf Club who showed up to the meeting in force and
dressed nicer than I've ever seen them and to the Casitas Park Rangers Brian
& Rob who
championed our cause! Now it is up to the rest of us to prove that they made
the correct decision!
I have set up a Guest
Book for online comments about the positive
aspects of the sport and the course at Casitas. It is imperative that we compile
as many
positive comments as possible to show the amount of support
for this beautiful course. Please do not let all of the positive work that
has been done by the
Ventura Disc Golf Club go by the wayside...we need your help now!
